I consider my city to be the world's biggest small town. Six degrees of separation doesn't exist here; it's more like 3. This results in ridiculously incestuous social circles, and too much drama. Here is a Cast of Characters list (in no particular order) of some of the people you will be meeting in this blog. Names abbrieviated for anonymitity.
+ Dasha - me. I will be narrating and keeping you updated on the ridiculous antics of my social group.
+ Mck - former member of a band with Nch, Max, and Anthony. Dates Kyna. Lives in A2 with Jol, Daniel, and Brian. In the middle of an I-Wish-I-Was-Bob-Dylan phase and has taken to wearing sunglasses everywhere, all the time, and rarely speaks or smiles. You'd think I was making up this depiction of such an art-world stereotype, but unfortunately, I'm not. Works as a cotton candy vendor at the ball park.
+ Kyna - Mck's girlfriend. Once upon a time at the beginning of his freshman year Nch had a huge crush on a girl he'd been hanging out with and asked her to be his girlfriend. She told him she didn't want a relationship just then, but proceeded to date his roommate/bandmate, Anthony. A few months later, she showed up at a show with Mck, and they've been together ever since.
+ Jol - my brother. An enormous pissant. Very sensitive and caring, except when it comes to relationships. Dated Shn for 4 days, broke up with her because he wasn't over his ex-girlfriend, then proceeded to lose his viginity to a random girl he became involved with, all within the next 4 days.
+ Ptc - KMp's kind-of ex-boyfriend. They were emotionally involved for about 10 months, and were in love with each other, but they were never officially together. They would hook up with other people to annoy each other. This all ended when Ptc starting hooking up with one of KMp's good friends. Both the good friend and Ptc lied about it, but KMp found out by looking at Ptc's text messages. She also found the used condom wrappers.
+ Wyn - dated Ax for a year. Flew off the deep end afterwards and started causing all kind of raucus. Lives with Dasha and Shn.
+ Nch - has saved both Dasha and Shn's lives. Dasha and Nch became very close afterwards and within a year and a half Dasha fell in love with him. Everyone was sure he had feelings for her too, but when things got to the point that they either had to admit their feelings or stop, he went after Js. Dasha later told him about her love for him. Their friendship is still getting back on track. Nch lives upstairs from Dasha, Shn, and Wyn with Ax and Kst.
+ Chl - Nch's sister. Was in love with Mck and never got over him. Dated Kst, but Kst knew she wasn't over Mck.
